Meet Srihari Balaji, a remarkable individual who applied for our scholarship program in 2019 and was awarded a scholarship at Union College, New York. During his time at Union College, Srihari excelled as a student researcher, delving into fascinating projects and honing his skills. His dedication and passion led him to secure an internship at NASA, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience. He was awarded a $10,000 NASA Space Technology Mission Directorate Funding Award for further development of his project. Srihari continued his pursuit of knowledge as a student researcher at the esteemed Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.
We are thrilled to share the latest update from Srihari—his acceptance into a highly selective Master of Science program in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University.
